Description:
Since the dawn of time when animals and humans walked the earth together there have been stories of animals healing humans - stories of courage, companionship and heroism from domestic as well as wild animals. In these stories animals have stepped into both brief and long term encounters with humans in order to help them heal and cope with trauma, illness, emotional pain, and physical disability. Today horses are emerging and being recognized as powerful healers for humans. Their ability to sense the need for healing and their desire to step forward to offer a nuzzle, a sigh, a warm breath has been shown to have positive physiological effects on humans. We've seen this in our own Epala herd and are continually amazed at which member of the herd steps up to offer a healing opportunity to our human visitors. "How do they know we are asked again and again." We offer you or a loved one the opportunity to spend a few hours or a half-day with members of the herd in healing sessions. Sessions will be designed in consultation with you and Juli Lynch, Ph.D. We welcome individuals of all ages, needs and levels of comfort with horses. We will guide you through a safe and accessible experience with your comfort and privacy as priority. Contact us to set up a phone consultation and to schedule a healing session.
